hey theres an item on ebay and the bidding finishes in 10 hours would these be most likely the most greatest super duper monitor for a project

its a sony sdm-n50

this makes me go crazy i want it so badly all the electronics and power supply are from a single external cable thats all in a box thoughts of the smarties will be greatly apreciated

Personally. I think I'd rather have the gubbins in the monitor behind the screen where I can't see it, rather than sat on my desk.

Might just be me though.

Would be a problem if you wanted to move the tablet around lots (Like the rotating tables for example) But I don't know Drew, this thing would save ALOT of problems in the build Look how thin it is! You take it out of the case, I bet all you'd need to add is maybeone ffc extender and just slip it into a case. It would work well with the flashier-looking-than-our-old-crap intuos tablets. . .

well can someone get the specs on this item like the conection type for the main lead etc im thinkin of making a stand and mounting extenders on that and taping it all together.. lol

I wonder where the inverter is? If it's in the box then that's likely to solve all sorts of problems.  If it's in the monitor then it doesn't help much. :-\

arghhhh it went for 270 dollars australian witch is about 200ish us 140 pounds the one in the worldwide ebay market went for 60 that ended a few days ago but i believe the only thing in the monitor is the ffc's =/

It has light sensors that adjust the brightness of the backlight depending on the ambient light of the room, and an infra-red sensor so it can go into low power mode when there's no one in front of it.  8)
