Hi plinius, Welcome!

The screen you have posted a link for is a pretty standard 15" TN based cold cathode backlit 6-bit 1024x768 panel; It's the sort of panel you might forward in a budget laptop. Being TN based it's likely that viewing angles wont be great, and colours are also likely to be washed out as it's a 6-bit panel, but then again it rather depends on what you intend to use this for.

Have you checked out the successful builds part of the forum? http://forum.bongofish.co.uk/index.php?board=23.0

I would also point your attention to the K-Jintiq build which is the same sort of setup that you appear to be going for; the panel used in the K-Jintiq is a relative of the screen that you've posted - the LP150E05-A2K1 - a more impressive panel presenting S-IPS technology for better viewing angles, a wider color gamut (although still 6-bit), a resolution of 1400x1050, and the bonus of having already been implimented successfully in a DIY Cintiq build. The crux of it is that it is a bit more expensive than the panel you have posted a link for, but as I said earlier it depends what you want from your end product.
