Wacom for the Tablet
Wacom for the Amiga + Syncmaster
Wacom for the iBook (Frrtiq)
17" shared over Server and Linux Workstation

Actually, it doesn't need to be VERY stiff.

You should always mount it at least a millimetre above the display panel. That's how it's done in my TabletPC. It gives alot more freedom with materials, because it allows just enough clearance for pen pressure. Smiley

That's been linked several times now.

Samsung Syncmaster 151s is internal. Sad

Update. Had a look on the manual. Drat, it IS internal. Still, I may be able to do something with it, as has been done with the larger ones. (Cintiq 21UX clones)

Oh well, even if I have to get another, a 15" rotating syncmaster is cheap at £20 plus tinkering.

A CRT with an external Power supply!?
7  Screen Tablet malarky / Build Logs / Re: Ferret's Build Log. on: January 24, 2007, 12:00:10 AM
The rotating screen makes me think otherwise: There's no point in a rotating screen if the cable won't go with it.

The 152 is also supposedly External according to the "Good Monitors" thread.

It's mine anyway, £20.47 posted.

Bidding ends on my project screen in about 4 hours.

Current cost £15 posted.

Syncmaster 151s. When it arrives I'll have a look at how feasible it would be to reuse the cool rotating stand that it has. Obviously it'll have to be capable of holding the weight of the Screen, + Tablet + the new casing. Mounting it could also be a problem, as well as the instability caused by the change in centre of gravity.

I'll update when I find out whether it's mine or not.

Rapid (My favourite component site) Sells High intensity 5MM LED's for 20p apiece.

Fire them up with resistors, like wot is mentioned in one of the build logs.

I may be doing this myself, as the electronics of the Samsung are questionable.

Oh well, I may soon see.

Also looking at ways to make it work on an Archimedes. . .

If not, I have Amiga Drivers waiting, Mac drivers waiting, BeOS, Windows, Solaris, Linux and maybe even AROS. Wink
