Hi kafka90, welcome! Staying smaller may well be the best way to get to grips with the ins and outs of DIY cintiq building, I look forward to seeing how you get on. Can I please ask that any questions you have are directed towards the help section of the forum. Thanks.

Hi ... I have been visiting the forum very often recently .. trying to read as much as I can .. eventually I decided to become a member .. it's a nice place and I'm very happy to be a part of it.

Now I have a 6*8 inch tablet which i wish to use. I know the size is small compared to what is usual around here but I want to keep my first attempt small. I think I need a 10 inch screen with 4:3 aspect ratio but here is the problem. I can't find any of them locally. I tried ebay but didn't find anything (maybe I don't know how to search)

so is there such a screen or should I get a bigger tablet ?

I hope I can find help >>> thanks

Rather than 10", look for 9.7" - plenty of 4:3 screen have that particular size. Beware: sdmall screens are nastier to strip.

Well howdy there! Newbie is pretty much the exact word to describe me at this point. I made the jump to try to build my own tablet/screen when troubles abound started happening. I got to a point where I have no clue what anything means anymore and I'm looking for help!

Ok well then let's get rid of the newbie status xD.
Hi guys, I hope that maybe someone can help me with my questions.

Nice forum BTW. So far I've learned a lot only by reading. Now I'm at the point of building my own with a little help.

Hey,

good that I found this (I was wondering why I can't post anything ^^), well, here's my reply (because I need to ask a question and without being allowed to post that's quite difficult!)

greetings LAX
