Welcome sullemunk! Take a look around and soak up some information. A quick note, this forum is slow paced and sometimes it may take a couple of days to get a response to a question.

Hi folks, I'm Gavin. I'll be making a macbook (2009) Yosemite pen/wacom tablet and thought I'd use the awesome community here for reference and consultation while making my "macwacomator slate".
I'm an animator and game developer who's decided to fix the absence of a dedicated portable animation tablet by going the route of making my own. Mostly I need a tablet that can run Yosemite (and current adobe/comparable software for animation) and not require a secondary input (need to be able to draw directly on-screen for simplicity's sake [oxymoron?]).
for more info I'll update this with a link to the thread when I start : ______
The idea is to enable animating wherever, whenever, however, and with on professional software (so it can be taken to/from work with ease).
I'm super excited to gut the old thing and get my hands dirty making a portable solution to wacomating on the go!

Welcome wahust!
I look forward to seeing how you get on with this. As is always the case, take a look around and familiarize yourself with the ins and outs, when your ready, start a build log and don't be afraid to ask anything. I will point out though that the forum is not the give of activity it once was but there are a bunch of us ready to answer questions where we can, but it can take a little while for a concise reply so please be patient.
Have fun!

Hi looking for some tips to see if a project is possible... I have a broken stylistic and I want to turn it into an input device/monitor. I really loved it until it tragically broke and refused to turn on years ago.. Maybe I can give it a new life as a monitor

Heya, been following cintiq builds on this forum for a while and I've now got a mini project of my own which I was planning on putting up here. Interested to see what you guys think of it so far.
