Hello.
I'm newbie here, but outside forum I'm electronic engineer.
I have wacom digitizer and need serial drivers for win7 64b. ... ok, I'll post my question in different topic.

Hi everyone!

Having just teared apart my intuos4 L casing for an old lcd fitting, I felt I should  share it with you.
No wonder few get the guts for cutting off their tablets, and even fewer want to record that terrifying step.
I'll make a build log soon enough.

Awesome forum, thank you!

Hi all!

I hack things Smiley Lurked here on and off since 2008. Made a quick DIY cintiq from my Intuos A4 and an old Samsung screen around that time, then switched to X61 tablet with an IPS screen.
Now I'd like to up the ante a bit, and dig into the things that make the drawing tablets tick!

Welcome DavidK.

There are at least 2 ways to build DIY Cintiq-like tablet. Before start, you need to make important decision:
1. Buy EMR tablet, good LCD screen and combine it together.
2. Buy screen from tablet-PC.

First way may give better results (like lilt angle response), much bigger screen (tablets and laptops are limited to about 15') but it's more complicated.
Second is easier because screen and digitizer are already fitted together.

Hi everyone !

My name is Morgan, and I'm developer.
Beside my job I love making some 3D, especially with zbrush, and a Cintiq would be perfect for me Wink

So I'll do my best to realize my own, thanks to your help Grin

Greetings from south of France Smiley
