halooooooooowwwwww..... There.... My build is almost there.... I have the whole thing up and running but with some jittering. I thought I could build it without asking any question because I think everything is in this "forum-manual".
Nevertheless, I already busted one line of the monitor trying to fix the jittering, and that's enough to tell myself: !enough is enough, you need some help here!

A warm welcome tintoagu. The all mighty Bongofish was waiting for you. Let the game commence. Start a build thread. (I think I need some sleep ).

Hi guys, I'm an out-of-practice doodler who never got over the paper-pen disconnect of normal tablets, so I'm going to make a DIY Cintiq. I've known about this site for some years and am finally to the point where I can get ahold of the materials needed. That, and the amount of drooling I was doing over Wei's iTab was getting a bit unhealthy. I'll put up a build log shortly, and I'm looking forward to getting through all this!

Hi all. I've finally some time to start my build, but struggling in finding a controller for a Samsung LTN154U2. I'll ask for advice in the Heyaaaalpppp area as soon I am allowed to do so. Kind regards to everyone, J

Hey everyone, checking in before I post inane questions.
To clarify: I am not a robot.
I *am* an idiot (or at least REALLY inexperienced at electronics). But I am not a robot.

I came across this forum in what appears to be a very similar route and I have been reading many of the threads and I've been very interested in the many different yet similar DIY cintiq build logs as well as successful builds. I do not have an electronic back ground, but this forum is very interesting to me. I'm also wondering who had even thought about stripping a monitor down and then laying it on top of a tablet. Well anyways, I've been taking notes and figuring out which laptop monitor I want to use. One area that I'm concerned about is doing a ribbon cable extension , I can see that this would be a show stopper.
