Hey all...

I am looking at buying a Dell 1500fp.

I am not 100% sure about this, but I think this monitor has it's power supply in it's base and then has a dc plug that plugs into the monitor above... meaning it could use an adapter of the right voltage and that its a fair candidate for stripping for this project...

can anyone take a look at the specs and confirm for me???

Thanks guys!!!

well,  The specs say the panel has a DC input, and there's someone selling 1500fp power supplies on ebay, so it looks like it's a seperate power brick.

Be careful it doesnt use some sort of special adapter.
the 1503fp does.  You could probably get one of those adapter plugs that can change though.
I have one.

I can't see the pics. I'll have to dig up my lumenlab account details.

It sounds like a wierd non -standard ffc cable from what the guy is writing, but the photos don't seem odd.
