Hey, can we throw in inactive area too?  It might help for people concerned with specific form factors (like myself).

For starters, I ripped open my graphire3 6x8.  Active area 5.94" x 8.22" (wtf!?) inactive area of the circuit board 10.25" x 8.75"

Yeah, that's a great idea!

Here are my VERY EXACT measurements:

INTUOS 3    12 x 19  mwa ha ha!

PCB dimensions
Width :  580 mm
Height : 380.2 mm

Active Area:
Width :  487mm
Height : 304mm

Note: The active area is NOT centered on the circuit board!

Along the left edge:  55mm of inactive area.           Along the right: 37mm

Across the top: 28mm                                         Across the bottom: 47mm

Total thickness with logic board:   ~14mm
Note: logic board plugs into the sensor board, inset 20mm from the top, left corner
Logic board dimensions:
Width : 150 mm
Height : 140 mm

To add to the list is the Intuos4 Large: an exact fit for a 15.4" 16:10 monitor.

Relatively precise dimensions: 335 x 210mm (+/-1mm)

If you would like, I can get a measurement of the i4M as well from a shop in the city. I just happened to have the i4L on hand (planning my first build) and I thought I should stick it up here to add to the list.

Please, get all the measurements you can.  Once the wiki is up and running, we will gather precise specs all in one place for future bongofishers.

I made a overview image.
Easier to see the ratios of the screens.

In addition to all this, there's the "simtiq planner" -- an online tool that computes all that for you.
