Hi again... it's been months since I last posted here, because i had so many things to do..
Well...
I'll post some pictures soon, but i just wanted to tell that I completed my project and must admit the case was a bit too big when used daily, but it workED...
WorkED because I broke it (can you believe this ?!!! I caught my feet on the power supply !)
The case is broken and the lcd display badly damaged...
Too bad because it was working pretty well, even if I think I could solve some little "jitter" problems by insulating it better.
Anyway, it's niice to have a little more time these days to come back to the forum for a while !

... and, by the way, i'm looking for a "ready-made" cintiq or d-i-y-tiq replacement... anyone ?

What do you mean by "too big for daily use"?

I am quickly scanning your build thread, but I am not sure: is this a portable device?

Tell us about the stuff you disliked or would have liked.

You still had some other accessories attached, how was that going?

Well, the iMac case was really nice but too big since I had to add a plexiglass "extension"...
I guess it would have been far better if I had built a stand for this device.
( It was only the iMac case, not the computer itself...)
and I think the A5 size is definitely enough for me.

Your A5 "choice" is interesting (that's close to a 4x5 tablet I assume).

We easily go down the road of trying to get the biggest tablet possible - without even thinking that a smaller size might actually do the work just fine (for some people at least) -- (well, if you can fine a matching LCD at low cost of course).

Receiving a 12x18 tablet (22inch) can be quite "intimidating"  Embarrassed -- where am I going to put such a huge device on my desk?  Huh

...et un p'tit bonjour du Québec en passant. Grin

Hi guys / salut les gars...
back from the dead after all this time.
A very very busy life, not enough money to start a new project ( I almost succeed in completing the build, but broke it in the end !!! ). I chose to avoid lurking here for a while to avoid any temptation...
But well, I keep on drawing and like digital painting too, so I guess it's time to reconsider all this !
Best
b.

ps : by the way, what you did with all these "new" builds is amazing !
