What does it take to hook up a laptop LCD to a vga port? i've found a very cheep 15inch laptop monitor already removed from a laptop.. i also have a 12 inch laptop sitting here i am thinking about using

Takes an interface board which typically cost between £150 and £300

Some TFT's (LVDS) can be connected directly to certain mITX boards, there are compatible ones on www.mini-itx.com

but only with certain LVDS TFT's.
