I had a broken lcd monitor laying around (HP f1703), and took it apart for some practice before diving into my brand new one.  I got to a point where all I had left to remove was a metal backplate.  So, I attempted to remove a few very tiny screws holding the metal plate in place, and the front of the lcd fell off!  Now I can see a silver plate that was behind the layer that fell off and figure I did something wrong.  Is this normal?  Do I need to look out for that happening on my next monitor?

Take a cell phone pic and upload it to your online album. Then you can post it here after logging into your
wireless account to pull down the photos.

Bad pics tell us more than no pics.
