I am seeking a controller and power inverter for an extracted laptop LCD from: Toshiba Satellite M35X-S109 
LCD Size: 12.5 x 9.5

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I should have mentioned that this is a LG PHILIPS LCD model: LP150X08 (A3)

I also found the "DVI VGA audio universal LCD panel LVDS controller board" sold by NJY5621 on ebay.

I am not certain if this is the right one or not. Awaiting a reply from the seller. I like the idea that it is a "universal controller" in case I ever decide to replace the screen that might make it easier to make changes or upgrades! Does anyone here have experience with this controller to know its quality? Also - how can I identify if this will work with my screen on my own?

Sounds cool.

looking at the ebay ad: It's "universal" -- but the list of resolution is a bit limited. For example, my LCD is 1400x1050  6bit RGB (not listed). I do not see the HD, HD+ and FullHD resolutions (very popular amongst recent LCD Panels -- check our wiki page for a list of LCD resolution http://wiki.bongofish.co.uk/doku.php?id=bongofish:lcdresolutions )   This board is of course missing the cables et al.

The other alternative is to buy a much-more-universal board and the "programmer board" (of course, it is more expensive).   Depending on the capacity of the board (how fast it can drive pixels) it will cover a wide range of possibilities.
