How are you handling the fact that no LCD panels seem to match up 1:1 with the XL? I got a 23" 16:10 thinking it would and I had to underscan it anyway (the ones I could actually find were actually closer to 24". And 22"ers are usually only 21.something. Or did you just end up going for a 24" and underscanning?

I've got my build sort of working, but would be nice to know of a LCD that just works w/o jitter or random presses.

In retrospect, I guess I should've looked for a 24" LED instead. Probably would've cost less than what I paid for the damn used 23" too.

The mismatch isn't problem.  Just calibrate with reasonable care and you can use ,most of your screen space.
