I stupidly thrown away the silver foil that cover the side circuit Sad

Watch out for short circuits,(lots of insulation)  and don't forget to earth it.

Just tested roughly with cling film + aluminium foil. It does reduce the jittering. Before this I get jumping from within 1cm radius, now it's reduce to half. But one big concern is I still get random left & right click whenever I move the pen near to the LCD side circuit.

Have to warp the circuit nicely and try it again on weekend.

That's interesting.  Might work better with something ferrous, like a steel sheet?

Hi wei,

I found this potential jitter solution its jitter from an aiptek tablet though :
"I had a bit of jitter with the pen once, but I solved it by tightening one of the wires inside the pen (you have to take the pen apart to do this, and its not hard but there are no instructions). Basically what happened it that the copper wire coil that it near the tip of the pen which acts like an antennae (for the pen to communicate with the tablet) had a loose end and it was moving around as I moved the pen and causing some interference."

That would only apply if he always had the jitter, and not just when he's doing the Cintiq thing, right?

A bit of sheilding should do the trick, wei's gonna test a big bit of steel at the weekend. Hope it works as I know my LCD creates interference.

yes, yesterday I tried with more layer (roughly double like 3 on each side) of aluminium foil and it did improve a bit. But still couldn't avoid the random left & right click when the pointer move closer to the edge where the circuit connect to the screen.

Also note that when I'm on 60Hz, the jittering wasn't so obvious as compare to 70Hz & higher.

Will keep testing!
