Ok, Just scored a brand new intous3 Wide 19" x 12"! I need some suggestions on a monitor/panel. I have been using this link http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11275473/simtiq_planner.html to size the monitor but read I should be trying to find a 16:10 instead of 16:9.

(1) 16:9 is the most common after 2008 so what problems will I run into using 16:9?

(2) I will be going with an IPS panel. Any suggestions? Models number?

(3) Also, how about a stand? Any recommended ones? When I render I tend to put some weight on the screen/paper so I need something that won't move about when putting some pressure on it.

(4) Glass or plastic to cover the screen drawing area? Thickness?

Can't wait to get going.

Thinking of the name... hum

OMG I lucked out! The 19x12 is 16:9 wide screen format. the normal is 18x12. Awesome.
I picked up a 21.5" AOC LED to start with. Brand new for $70. Lets see how that goes then maybe I can grab a very nice IPS if it's possible to find one at the size I need. Most nice IPS panels are 24".

Will be adding this project to the build log when everything arrives. Can't wait.
