Hey all,
I'm in the process of trying to get a digitizer and LCD from my old Toshiba Tecra M4 working. The video card on this
POS tabletPC burned out on me not once but twice.
New to soldering and electrical engineering stuff but I've built several desktop computers so have a basic understanding of computers in general.
Here's the wacom board.

And 9 pin cable that is probably serial.

Pins are 1 GND, 7 DTR, 8 RTS, 9 RxD, 10 TxD, 11 GND, 12 PCIRS, 13 P3V, 14 GND
Here's a screenshot of ISDV4 debug on Waxbee. I don't get any of this info if I use the ISDV4 to Intuos 2 template.

Using info found in this forum, I was able to get both HID_listen and Realterm to see input from the pen and was actually able to get the cursor moving with the pen using Intuos2 drivers but the cursor was super slow with the cursor jumping around very unpredictably and not really tracking where the pen was.
I feel like I'm so close to getting this working but can't figure out what to do next. I've tried several wacom drivers but none seem to work (Win 8 64 bit).
Here's my breadboard setup. Excuse my crappy soldering and wiring skills. Again I'm relatively new to electronics.

I have 7 DTR, 8 RTS, 11 GND, and 14 GND grounded in this picture.
Does it sound like a grounding issue? Driver issue? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
