It would appear that all the info you need is in the first couple of posts, but to condense it:

The LVDS controller used here is the NJYtouch 5451 DVI LCD Controller board.
It's programmed to drive the Hannstar HSD150PK17.
The inverter you need should be able to drive CCFLs (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps) - as apposed to LEDs.

That's probably all you'll need.

thanks for your replay!
I've read the first post and asked NYJtouch to send me a 5451 board for the HSD150PK17. But still they want to know which type of LVDS cable i need... and I don't have this information at the moment, because my tecra M4 display does not arrived yet.

Ok well according to panelook.com the HSD150PK17 uses 2channel 6bit lvds, and i believe the connector is  a 30pin FI-XB30S-HF10.

See here under 'Signal Interface': http://www.panelook.com/HSD150PK17-A00_HannStar_15.0_LCM_parameter_3111.html

That should be enough info.

It works.
My Tecra died two years ago. But I hoped that it is possible to use its screen on a PC.
And with this genius tutorial it works. I just have to build a case for it.
Thanks a lot.

Greetings DPBP
