Hello all,

I broke the screen to my HTC one and being poor, and pretty handy, decided to fix it myself. While disassembling the phone to install the new screen, I broke an FFC that is soldered directly to the daughterboard. I ended up just ordering a new daughterboard, but out of curiosity, does anyone know if that FFC would be repairable/know how to repair it?

Ill post a pic of the broken cable in the near future.

Thanks!

Oh I see. Well I think you might have a hard time repairing it using anisotropic tape as mobile devices use extremely tiny pitch FFC cables. My feeling here is that it's beyond repair just using domestic tools and materials. Sorry.
