I have an intous3 12x19 and an AOC2269 just like this build
The only difference is that I'm using regular off the shelf window glass which is approx. 2.4mm

Pretty sure others here have used normal 3mm glass:

Now the plastic LCD frame of the AOC monitor is about 7.62 mm in height or .3 of an inch
so with my glass (2.4 + 7.62) that would be about 10mm above the wacom antenna circuit board

I can't seem to find whatever the maximum distance is for the pen tip to the sensor board...but maybe it's 13mm according to this post? I really wish all the info was in one place.  Anywho, does anyone have an idea of where I might be going wrong? i don't want to take the LCD out of it's frame, but I can if that's what's required. Just not sure how to make a frame for the led strip yet..  Undecided Any thoughts on all this?

Okay, my tablet monitor sandwich turned me into a liar  Cheesy

This past sumer is when I last test it. I tried all the screen frequencies back then, had a piece of cardboard behind the lcd inside of it's frame, and paper on the tablet as a sheild. This time around, instead of cardboard I used paper. And now I'm able to draw on a regular peice of glass on top of my monitor. Only problem is, like everybody else, lots of jitter around the edges which makes it completely unusable. I'll try grounding the tcon board to the metal plate of the tablet I guess. Wish me luck!
