Now, out of pure stupidity, i'm going to take apart a manhattan 8 by 6 graphics tablet and put it in a 15" lcd monitor, why, if it works, I can get a 9 by 12 tablet that fits my monitor, paid for by my brother

If you're patient and look around ebay, you can find a wacom for between $40 and $80.  You'll probably save money and heartache.

this is a test to see if usb tablets will work, if not, then I'll look for a wacom, I'll post pics of the tablet and monitor soon
