thanks for your help!!  by the way, what is the utility of the thing on the back of the tablet? this one:  (the large thing, not the circuit) I think its an isolant.. can I remove it? |

It's a shield of some kind for sure, it gets grounded via some springs on the interface board, and no I wouldn't remove it if I were you.

Defaintly some sort of sheidling as the Intuos3 has one as well that is attached to the plastic casing by a thick bit of copper tape. I think its why you can place your tablet on top of other electrical items with out getting any jitters.

here what i want to do now. Ive thinking about use my lcd back frame to hold the power supply, and cover it with the plastic of the lcd:  the only problem its the cable.. its too short, so i need to make it longer.  And after, I need to create a box on top for cover the lcd part  And buy something to protect my lcd for draw on. |

Got some time today for continu. Yesterday I buy this:  , a simple frame for put a photo.. but the glass size is 11x14", so i can use it to protect my lcd.... for 1$ lol Now i need to make the power cord longer Before  After  Rear view  Now this one   a little test for see if all is working or if i broke something  |

Awesome so add that to the files guys, extending the Power to the CCFCs directly on the Dell 1501 doesnt effect performance.

No, I think extending the backlight cables wont make a difference, my theory is that the power that runs to the inverter is very little so that is why you have those things to increase power and voltage, but once it is out there, the backlight cables can be as long as they want. I did the same thing on mine |

sweet sorry i been away for awhile guys been in Italy again sorting out house stuff. its cool how in such a short time so many new complete builds oh and ps.. i love the way we all use towels as our anti static extremely safe work top thingy. |

Cut a bigger hole and let the hole lcd sit in the hole, then paint the glass black or something where you do not want do see
