"this is the best brand by far" it says.  HA!  i have a 1200u (though not with the fancy color scheme or the butterfly to trace), an intuos3 9x12, and now for my current project and my next project 2 UD series wacoms, a 9x12 and a 12x18.  the intuos3 is by far the best tablet among them, but even the old UD work better than my aiptek.  the aipteks numbers are a bit better, but it's too prone to interferance.  if you're not going to be making a simtiq with it, then it is a fairly good value as long as you have room on your desk to keep it away from things like, well, like anything else electronic.  still i think the $350 or so i paid for my intuos3 after i had tried out the aiptek was money well spent.
