Everything I'm seeing will only do 1024x768

If I have to go 1024x768, anyone experience using NEC LCD1565?

i spent quite a bit of time searching for 1280x1024 too.  found one that the store ad said did it, but the manufacturers site said it was 1024x768, so be careful in case you find that one.  I'll be watching here hoping someone else knows of one that does.

I've found laptop LCDs that will support the higher resolution, so I may hold off for a while and if I don't find a workable monitor that will do it, I may go the more expensive route of using a laptop display and associated LVDS controller just so I can get the higher resolution. I want to stay away from just using a miniITX board that will drive the display since I want to be able to use the VersaSketch as a display tablet AND as a portable art station.

hmm with a 5:4 diskplay it'll only work with the a4 oversize, but i found some LG displays working in lenovo/ibm thinkpads with 4:3 15" 1600 x 1200 and that is great but no info on lvds to use =/
