OK don't panic. I've seen people solder links MUCH smaller than that.
If you aren't confident of your soldering skills then ask around and find someone who can do it for you, It might mean adding a small section of wire inbetween to make it easier to solder.  but that's OK.

That cable should unclip at the other end. I'll do a post in the tutorial section dealing with ribbon Flat Flexible Cables (FFC) and the way they clip in.

malheuresement je parle francais une tres petit peux.

OUF ! thank you Drewid

I have found PCB Connector with FFC cable here :
http://www.diy-beamer.com/FR/store/comersus_listItems.asp?idCategory=124

- Can anyone tell me if it can work for me ?
- Another little question that don't need post :
When I put the tablet sensor between screen and light, i see it by transparance
My fist Idea was to put the screen under the plastic shield of the tablet but if i understand, the black screen need backward light to show the pixel that's right ?

I hope you can find someone to solder your wires for you.  Smiley

You will need that FFC kit to extend your cable.  Make sure you have the right size and number of connections

The light has to be on top of the sensor, like this:

I looked at your monitor pics again.
I don't think you should use that monitor, it has in internal power supply.  It would probably cause interference in your tablet.
sorry

http://forum.bongofish.co.uk/index.php?topic=28.0

The list has only two screens right now, we've only just started.

The power supply is a very big problem it seems.
Stripping metal out of the backlight is the second issue, but that just means that the build is easier/quicker if there isn't much metal.

Salut allaak,

Amicalement,

SchwarzerPrinz
